Your Role & Key Responsibilities

Your Role:

Reporting into the E commerce Channel business lead, he E-Commerce Channel Analyst Manager plays an important role as part of the E Commerce Channel Retail team and supports the success of the Elida Beauty portfolio across the AMERICAS. This role will focus on the strong activation and execution of the customer JBP and activity plans with direct E-Commerce customers, including e-tailers and marketplace platforms. The role will be accountable at a turnover and USG/growth performance level for the Elida Beauty direct E-Commerce business, whilst also heavily focused on supporting the progression of the brands footprint through various RTM options ranging from distributor to direct sales. The role will be heavily matrixed and networked into both the Elida Digital Hub and the Elida Marketing team in order to unlock opportunities and maximize value and, where appropriate, replicate best practice and shared learnings to optimize the overall brand performance on-line.

The role will also work closely with the CCD team on promotional analysis and E NRM to enhance the efficiency and productiveness of our brands online with our retail partners. You will also work closely with the digital hub and marketing teams to acquire the right assets and content for the E Commerce team to gain maximum visibility online for our brands with Amazon, Retailer.com and any Beauty Pure Play customers.

Finally, this role will support the marketing & shopper marketing team with the relevant data insights and search analysis to support building the E commerce strategy and designing brand activations for the channel that help to optimize the sales online of our brands.

Responsibilities

Support the development of the Elida E-Commerce& Amazon Strategy

  • Support with the development of the overall E-Commerce strategy in the AMERICAS through thorough and effective analysis, identifying trends, insights and providing recommendations.
  • Analyze and present key customer and competitor data in order to identify insight and provide informed future direction and support higher-level strategic decisions.
  • To support in the creation of the overall strategic document with collation and analysis of relevant market materials and data.
  • Provide feedback on performance of all marketing and merchandising programs to drive strategic decisions
  • Deliver brand digital online marketing activity plans with direct customers in order to achieve business and brand targets
  • Responsible for creation & updating of 70A content
  • For direct customers, support the timely activation of the JBP and promotional plan in order to achieve defined business and brand targets.
  • Work closely with the customer marketing teams in order to effectively activate and execute monthly promotional and brand site activity, ensuring on-brand, and on budget.
  • Support the activation of online campaigns through to execution, working closely with the digital hub team and appointed E-Commerce agencies.

Be at the Heart of the team

  • Designing and Updating OCR data reports to share insights and recommendations for the E commerce channel with the team
  • Tier 1 data insight generation including but not limited to value & volume sales, competitor analysis, basket analysis, key category and brand search terms identification, consumer behaviour within category and brand. Then feeding this insight into key stakeholders
  • Provide accurate reporting on performance on line against the goals of the campaign
  • Analyze the results of in-platform actions (campaign usage, click rate, conversion rate, influencer, etc. and review monthly any activity with a post-activity review, sharing insight to evolve and tailor future plans.
  • Work with CCD to analyze and present eNRM solutions for the sales & marketing team to activate

Activity planning and link into S&OP

  • Ensure that all promotional activity is appropriately planned internally and externally and linked into the S&OP process

Investment Optimization

  • Ensure that all E-commerce promotional and activity plans are considerate of appropriate financial (margin) metrics and targets.
  • Analyze and review post-activity, identifying insights and providing recommendations for continuous improvement with the shopper marketing team
  • Provide meaningful benchmarks to analyze business performance

Skills and Experience

Educational Background:

  • Degree level education, preferably in business/sales and marketing/computer science/engineering

Must haves:

  • 1-3 years of working experience in sales/analyst/e commerce roles
  • Understanding of Business and activity planning (S&OP)
  • Activating the customer/channel Business Plan
  • High level of presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong interest and passion for E-Commerce and beauty in digital.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, change and matrix management.
  • Knowledge in customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies as well as promotional online levers to drive sales
  • Experience in dealing with / creating marketing content, 7OA and campaign management online
  • Hands-on experience in Power BI
  • Proficient in online marketing and web analytics tools,
  • Familiar with digital analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics
  • Proven experience in reporting analytics across different media channels and media types (Display, Search).

Nice to have:

  • Global E commerce Channel experience e.g. Amazon
  • Experience working in a start-up environment
  • Experience in Beauty & Personal Care Industry / working with BPC brands
