The salary range for this role, based in New York is $101,100 to $151,700, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Our vision is to build the #1 digital commerce ecosystem within beverage alcohol. Our dual mission is to drive significant revenue growth as well as embed sustainable digital-first capabilities into the broader Pernod Ricard USA (PRUSA) ecosystem.

No industry is as ripe for disruption as BevAlc in the US, given prohibition era laws that differentiate us from broader food and beverage or luxury. BevAlc digital commerce transformation, once projected to take 5+ years, has now occurred in the span of weeks, with no signs of slowing down. To win in this new environment, Pernod Ricard USA (PRUSA) has formed a new, dedicated eCommerce & Digital Growth business unit. We are primarily based in NYC, with a hub in SF.

We are a team where a start-up's appetite for innovation, risk-taking, and speed meets the stability, infrastructure, and resources of a scale multi-national organization. This growing team is made up of members spanning commercial, marketing/media, creative/content, product, data, operations, finance, and biz ops. We hail from eCommerce, start-up/tech, CPG, agency, and management consulting.

Data as a capability is core to PRUSA’s digital transformation and our ability to acquire, assimilate, and make data accessible for business users at scale is critical to fulfilling our mission.

What you'll do

We have built a best-in-class revenue and share model, and we are just getting started. Sitting at the intersection of data and business operations, the Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for building and supporting all eCommerce data dashboards and delivering meaningful insights around revenue trends, competitive positioning, and omnichannel behaviors.

You will work across the entire PRUSA eCommerce organization, partnering with our Commercial, Marketing, Finance & Strategy, B2B, and DTC teams to understand their data needs, and with Product Management to identify and prioritize net new data sources or metrics to be integrated into our data warehouse.

You will play a critical role in ensuring that our eCommerce data is highly visible (proliferated throughout the organization), timely (enables faster decision-making), and pushes forward our self-serve capabilities to make smarter and critical strategic business decisions.

You will
  • Deliver insight using compelling Power BI visualization techniques to key business functions
  • Assist in developing and measuring team KPIs, evaluate new ways to explore data, and play a key role in our Digital Transformation strategy
  • Mediate and cultivate partnerships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including:
    • Key eCommerce stakeholders (Commercial, Marketing, Finance & Strategy, B2B, and Direct to Consumer teams) to understand their informational needs and create personalized reporting/visualization solutions that turn our data into critical information that ultimately drives sound business decisions
    • Data Providers (customers, third party data sources, inventory management systems, etc.) to understand and ultimately leverage all available data into bespoke business dashboards
    • Data & Analytics team to discuss and implement new and existing data pipeline requirements
  • Promote and enable data to help expand "citizen-analysts" in the company by producing high-quality, self-service tools


You have
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience building visualizations in reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • An ability to think beyond the data; you are interested in surfacing and developing actionable insights and strategies
  • Strong communication and influencing skills - ability to clearly understand business objectives and translate them into a compelling story tailored to the audience (high level for executives vs technical for developers)
  • Experience working with/within a large CPG/BevAlc/Manufacturer; or relevant experience serving such clients in consulting; or experience working in a central analytics/data science role within a large enterprise environment or a product-driven venture-backed tech company a plus
  • Experience working with large third party data sources such as Nielsen
